The Versatile Ph.D. is a web-based resource and on-line community for graduate students who are interested in exploring non-academic careers. It is open to all Ohio State faculty, graduate students, and staff. You will need to authenticate your Ohio State identity when you access The Versatile Ph.D.
Preparing Future Faculty Program
Offers graduate students an opportunity to be mentored by faculty mentors at one of the Graduate School's institutional partners, largely liberal arts colleges in Ohio.
Graduate Minors and Interdisciplinary Specializations
Minors and specializations are open to graduate students interested in developing secondary expertise outside their home graduate programs for a minimal number of credits.

Ohio State Alumni Career Management Office
Virtual and face-to-face career counseling and networking for all Ohio State alumni.
University Center for the Advancement of Teaching (UCAT)
Tops, tips, resources, and support for teaching and for academic job searches. Offers one-on-one consultations on teaching, teaching statements, and teaching portfolios. Four-part workshop each autumn on planning for the academic job search (with Career Connection).
Graduate student government body with many useful programs, including the annual Hayes Graduate Research Forum, travel awards, and career development grants.
