Students and other research staff are invited to attend an information session to learn about the IRB approval and exemption process. Training includes information about the types of studies that have these requirements, details about procedures, timelines for seeking approvals, and an opportunity to ask questions about specific projects. This event, co-sponsored by the Graduate School and the Office of Responsible Research Practices, will be held in Room 020 Page Hall on Friday, November 13, 2009, from 1:30 - 2:30 PM

InterACT Presentation "What Are You Accusing Me Of?" (11/24/2009)

The Graduate School is sponsoring a performance by the InterAct Diversity Players theatre group of "What Are You Accusing Me Of? Cross-Cultural Misunderstandings of Plagiarism and Academic Integrity". The performance centers on issues that arise among international students, their instructors, and the Committee on Academic Misconduct, but all graduate students, faculty, and graduate program staff will find this performance thought-provoking and useful for their teaching, research, and advising. The production will be presented on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at 11:30 a.m. in the Ray Bowen Theatre, Drake Performance and Event Center, 1849 Cannon Drive.
